Microblading in Vancouver, WA
Microblading builds brows one hair-like stroke at a time, mapped to your bone structure before any pigment touches skin. It is the most natural-looking of the brow services when your skin is a good match for it.
What microblading is
Microblading is a manual cosmetic tattoo technique. Fawn uses a fine hand tool to place individual, hair-like strokes of pigment that follow the direction of your natural brow hair, so healed brows read as texture rather than makeup.
It is semi-permanent. The strokes soften and fade over time rather than staying sharp forever, which is what keeps them looking natural as your face and style change.
Who it suits
Microblading tends to suit sparse, over-tweezed or patchy brows where the goal is realistic individual hairs rather than a filled-in makeup look. Skin type matters: crisp strokes generally hold best on normal-to-dry skin.
If your skin runs oilier, strokes can soften faster than you would like — that is exactly the conversation where nano brows or powder brows often become the better answer. Fawn curates every service to your facial structure, skin type and personal preference, so if microblading is not the right fit she will say so.
What the appointment is like
Plan on about two hours. The first stretch is mapping and shaping: measuring against your bone structure, drawing the shape on, and adjusting it with you in the mirror until you approve it. Nothing is tattooed until you are happy with the shape.
Stroke work follows, with check-ins along the way. You leave with the aftercare protocol and your 6–8 week perfecting session to schedule — that follow-up is a separate appointment where healed results get refined.
Healing and how long it lasts
Fresh strokes look darker and sharper than the healed result. Over the first weeks the color softens as your skin settles, and the true healed tone emerges — which is why the perfecting session waits 6–8 weeks.
Healed microblading typically stays at its best for one to three years depending on your skin, lifestyle and sun exposure, then can be refreshed with a color boost or annual touch-up instead of starting over. Fawn's full aftercare protocol is provided at your appointment.
