Aftercare & healing

Microblading, Powder & Nano Brow Aftercare

All four brow techniques — microblading, powder, nano and combo — share the same healing arc: bold, then flaky, then briefly too soft, then settled. Knowing the arc is what keeps you from panicking in the middle of it.

Fawn's full aftercare protocol is provided at your appointment, in writing, specific to the service you had. This page will carry that protocol verbatim once it's confirmed for publication — what's below is the general healing arc, so you know what to expect, not a substitute for her instructions.

Days one and two — bolder than you ordered

Fresh brows read darker, sharper and more dramatic than the healed result. This is normal and temporary: what you see on day one is pigment sitting at the surface, not the final color.

The first week — dry, tight, flaky

As the surface heals, brows typically get dry and flake — and the flakes carry color, which can look alarming. It isn't your result coming off; it's surface skin doing what healing skin does. Fawn's protocol covers exactly what to do and not do here.

Weeks two to five — the too-light stretch

After the flaking, brows often look softer and lighter than you want — sometimes patchy. Pigment is settling under fresh skin and re-emerges gradually. This is the stage that generates the most worried messages and needs the most patience.

Weeks six to eight — the real result, and the perfecting session

By week six the true healed color and pattern are visible, which is exactly why the perfecting session is scheduled at 6–8 weeks: it refines the actual result, evening anything that healed unevenly. Book it as its own appointment — it's where brows become the version in the photos.

Healed and ready for more?

The 6–8 week perfecting session and annual color boosts are separate appointments — book them the same way you booked the first.
