What eyeliner tattoo is

Eyeliner tattoo deposits pigment along the lash line in the style you choose — from a soft, smudged-looking line that simply makes lashes read fuller, to a cleaner defined line. The shape is drawn on and approved with you before any tattooing.

It is semi-permanent, softening gradually over the years rather than staying sharp forever, which also means the style can evolve with you at refresh appointments.

Who it suits

Eyeliner tattoo suits daily liner wearers, anyone whose eyes water their liner away by noon, and people for whom applying liner has become genuinely difficult — unsteady hands, changing eyesight, or simply no patience left for wings that will not match.

If you want something subtler than a visible line, look at eyelash enhancement, which places pigment only between the lashes. Lower eyeliner can be added beneath for balance.

The appointment, healing and longevity

Plan on about two hours, most of it in careful prep and shape work — the tattooing itself is precise and unhurried. Eyes stay closed during the work and you approve the drawn shape before pigment is placed.

Fresh liner looks darker and thicker than the healed result, and some short-lived puffiness around the eyes is common at first. The color settles over the following weeks, with a separate 6–8 week perfecting session to refine it. Healed eyeliner typically stays at its best for one to three years depending on your skin and habits. Fawn's full aftercare protocol is provided at your appointment.
