The appointment
Plan on about two hours. It starts with shape and shade: mapping the border, choosing the pigment with you, and confirming both before tattooing begins. Color is then layered in passes, with breaks to check the build.
Healing and how long it lasts
Freshly tattooed lips look bold and bright — noticeably more saturated than the healed result. Over the first days the color softens dramatically, then resurfaces as a soft tint over the following weeks. Day three is famously the alarming-looking day; it passes.
Healed lip blush typically looks its best for one to three years depending on your skin and habits, with the separate 6–8 week perfecting session to refine the healed color and annual touch-ups available after that. Fawn's full aftercare protocol is provided at your appointment.
